Manx Code Club

The Isle of Man Code Club is an organisation supported by MICTA which is aimed at providing a focal point for people of all ages to develop coding skills, share their knowledge and experience and teach others how to leverage the technology that surrounds us. We do this by:

  • organising classes in various programming disciplines and related hardware

  • fostering cooperation amongst software developers in the Isle of Man

  • providing events of interest for people passionate about technology

Code Club meets each Saturday from 4-6pm @ 3 Prospect Hill (above Java Express) in Douglas.

A number of volunteers from the Island's IT Industry freely give their time and skills to the benefit of the club.  As Code Club is open to enthusiasts of all ages, we have a Child Protection Policy to ensure we have a consistent approach towards the security and safety of minors.

Would you like to dedicate some time to growing Code Club? We’re always looking for people who can teach classes or give sessions on particular subjects. If you want to run a class on a particular speciality we’d love to host you; likewise, if you want to give a talk on a specific field or speciality, we’d be happy to organise a session with you.
