MICTA has places for 12 Board Members at any one time (plus the CEO has a board position). Board members are elected by the general membership at the AGM each year for a two year period. Each potential Board member has to be nominated by one member company that is not the company that they originate from - and that is all there is to it.!

Responsibilities of Directors

​

• Board Meetings are held every other month and last approximately 2 hours. They are held in Douglas, normally from 5:30-7:30pm on a weekday evening

• In addition there are probably 2-3 emails a month that seek a consensus opinion, particularly in relation to Government Consultations

• Directors are all signatories on the bank account so may be asked to sign checks infrequently

• Attendance at any AGM/EGM

• Assistance in finding presentors for MICTA events

• Assistance in aqcuiring new members
