Barclays to Create an Eagle Lab in Victoria Street, Douglas

In many locations around the world, innovation is clustered together. People bounce ideas off one another to help find the gaps in their thinking and move forward at a faster pace.

Silicon Valley was the first modern location where this had a noticeable and measurable effect, but clusters have emerged much closer to home, in Silicon Roundabout in London, the Sharp Project in Manchester and Baltic Creative in Liverpool. As we start to develop the same sort of tech momentum in the Isle of Man we also need such centres to further concentrate the innovation spirit.

Barclays have decided to bring their Eagle Lab concept to the Isle of Man, opening up directly opposite their branch in Victoria Street with a 5,000 Square Foot dedicated facility in conjunction with the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce and the Department for Enterprise.
