Sure is a supplier of telecommunication services in the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey.  Across the islands, we deliver mobile, broadband, fixed line, data centre and enterprise solutions to consumers, corporate and public sector clients. We can trace our history in these islands back to 1896 when the Guernsey States Telephone Department decided to establish an independent telephone system for the island, which would have a maximum of 400 subscribers! We’ve come a long way since then, with tens of thousands of customers across three islands and with products and services ranging from voice, mobile and broadband to networks, global connectivity and managed services solutions.

 

In April 2013, we were acquired by the Batelco Group, a major communications company with direct and indirect investments across 16 geographies, namely Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, Maldives, Diego Garcia, St. Helena, Ascension Islands, Falklands, Monaco and Afghanistan.  At the same time we launched Sure International, the corporate division of our business, which specialises in offshore connectivity, enabling those companies that operate in the islands to reliably and efficiently connect and transact with their global partners.
